The Leone MEMORIA® Leaf Spring Activated Expander is an innovative orthodontic appliance designed to provide controlled and continuous expansion of the maxillary arch. It features specially developed nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) leaf springs that deliver calibrated forces to support gradual palatal expansion.
Unlike conventional expansion screws, the MEMORIA® system uses the elastic properties of its leaf springs to generate expansion forces. When the springs move apart, the expander can be reactivated by the orthodontist to recompress them and restore the selected expansion force.
