Intended Use
ENDO-PREP CREAM is designed for chemo-mechanical root canal preparation.
-
EDTA disodium salt softens the superficial dentin layer by flushing out calcium and magnesium ions, making dentin removal and canal shaping easier.
-
Urea peroxide reacts with NaOCl to create abundant foam, which helps remove debris and dentin from the canal.
-
Lubricating agents facilitate instrument insertion and reduce the risk of file breakage.
Contraindications
-
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to components.
-
Do not leave ENDO-PREP CREAM in the canal or chamber between visits, as this may cause excessive dentin softening.
Warnings & Precautions
-
Use caution when working near the apex to avoid perforation.
-
EDTA may reduce dentin bonding strength to restorative materials.
-
Do not use immediately before/after rinsing with chlorhexidine (may cause a white residue). Use purified water instead.
-
Avoid excessively strong NaOCl irrigation to prevent periapical irritation.
-
Hazards: Causes skin irritation, causes serious eye damage.
-
If swallowed: drink plenty of water, do not induce vomiting, and seek medical advice.
-
Always use protective measures: cofferdam, gloves, goggles/visor, protective clothing.
