40% citric acid solution
Intended Use
Used in endodontic treatment for root canal irrigation. It enhances mechanical cleaning, removes the smear layer, and exposes dentinal tubules to improve debris removal and sealant penetration.
Contraindications and Limitations
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component. Do not leave the solution in the canal or cavity between visits, as this may cause excessive dentin softening. Avoid immediate alternating use with sodium hypochlorite, as it may negatively affect dentin microhardness.
