Dental Etchant for Enamel and Dentine

Composition

  • o-Phosphoric acid 36%

  • Gel base

  • Dyestuff

Intended Use

  • Etching of dentine and enamel prior to:

    • Composites

    • Fissure sealing

    • Cavity sealing

Contraindications

  • Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components

Precautions

  • Use of dental etchants may cause post-operative hypersensitivity and temporary pain

  • Cytotoxic potential

  • Causes severe skin burns and eye damage

  • In case of contact: rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical advice

  • If swallowed: do not induce vomiting; drink plenty of water and seek medical advice

  • Use cofferdam, disposable gloves, safety goggles/visors, and protective clothing when handling the product

  • Keep out of reach of children

  • Any serious incident should be reported to the manufacturer and competent authority

Storage

  • Store in original packaging below 25°C

  • Expiry date is on the main container

  • Once opened, the expiry date does not change if container is securely closed

Handling the Product Container

  • Empty containers should be disposed of responsibly or returned to the manufacturer

Packaging

  • Syringe containing 2 ml of preparation, disposable applicator

  • Syringe containing 10 ml or 50 ml, with disposable applicators, connector, and dispenser

  • MONSTER PACK: 10 syringes (2 ml each), disposable applicators

  • MEGA PACK: 3 syringes (10 ml each), disposable applicators, connector, and dispenser
