Flat open containers (i.e., trays) designed for holding, carrying, and storing sterile surgical instruments. They are typically metallic trays with coved corners and large bead edges allowing easy handling, stacking, and cleaning. Instrument trays can be made of different materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, enamel, and plastic.
These trays are available with or without covers, in a variety of styles and sizes, and can accommodate several instruments. The trays are mainly used in healthcare facilities during surgical procedures as well as for sterilization, autoclaving, and storage.
