Produced from the coagulated latex of trees native to Malaysia, gutta-percha is a natural material that is heated and then compressed into the canal. Gutta-percha points are designed in various sizes to fit in different canals, and many companies that produce endodontic files also produce corresponding gutta-percha points. When selecting GP points, be sure to have multiple sizes on hand to be ready for any canal you encounter.
