Calcident 450 is a paste containing 45% calcium hydroxide based on water. The material is recommended for direct and indirect pulp capping and for temporary root canal sealing.
Calcident 450 is radiopaque and has a pH value of 12, which is responsible for the antibacterial effect. Also, Calcident 450 is biocompatible and gentle to the pulp.
