Intended Use
The BTR PEN, together with a compatible nitinol loop tip, is designed to safely remove fragments of broken endodontic instruments from the root canal.

BTR PEN Usage

Stainless steel tool: Reusable; inspect before each use for contamination, cracks, bends, splits, or deep scratches.

Nitinol loop tip (BTR TIP): Single-use only; delivered non-sterile and must be sterilized before use.

Do not sterilize with protective cup

Store in a clean, dry environment

Dispose responsibly after use or return to the manufacturer

BTR PEN Calibrator

Reusable instrument; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol before each use.

Inspect for blunting or bending, as this can affect loop calibration and instrument performance.
Cleaning and Sterilization

All instruments are delivered non-sterile.

Clean new instruments with a soft bristle brush and cleaning solution (e.g., ANIOSYME X3) or ultrasonic cleaning.

Rinse with purified water and dry thoroughly before sterilization.

Disassemble BTR PEN before sterilization.

Recommended autoclave sterilization:

134°C for 5 minutes

121°C for 20 minutes

Follow national sterilization requirements.

Adhere strictly to cleaning and sterilization guidelines.

Report any serious incidents to the manufacturer and local competent authorities.
Storage

Store at 5–30°C with relative humidity below 70%.
