Intended Use
EUCALYPTOL is used in repeated endodontic treatments for the removal of gutta-percha from the root canal.
Contraindications
- Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to eucalyptus oil.
Warnings & Precautions
- May cause allergic skin reactions.
- Oils dissolving gutta-percha can reduce dentin microhardness and negatively affect bonding of dentin with restorative materials.
- Flammable liquid and vapour – keep away from heat sources and open flames.
- Has cytotoxic potential.
- Endodontic treatment may involve temporary postoperative pain.
- Use appropriate protection: cofferdam, disposable gloves, safety goggles/visors, protective clothing.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Report any serious incident to the manufacturer and the competent authority of your country.
Storage
- Store in original packaging below 25°C.
- Protect from light and ignition sources.
- Expiry date printed on main container.
- Once opened, shelf life remains unchanged if securely closed after each use.
Handling the Container
- Dispose of empty containers responsibly or return to manufacturer.
