Intended Use:
ALUSTAT is used during dental treatment to staunch slight gingival bleeding. The aluminium chloride provides a vasoconstrictive effect on small blood vessels, helping to reduce both gingival swelling and minor bleeding.
Contraindications:

Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components.
Precautions:

Remove preparation before taking an impression to avoid inhibiting impression material polymerisation.

Aluminium chloride may reduce the bonding strength of dentin to restorative materials.

ALUSTAT has cytotoxic potential—use with care.
-
May cause local, temporary tissue damage.
-
Irritating to mucous membranes, skin, and eyes.
-
In case of contact: rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

If swallowed: do not induce vomiting; drink plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Always use appropriate protection (cofferdam, disposable gloves, safety goggles/visors, protective clothing).

Keep out of reach of children.

Any serious incident involving this product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in the user’s country.
Storage:

Store in original packaging below 25°C.

Expiry date is printed on the main container.

Once opened, expiry date remains valid if securely closed after each use.
Handling the Product Container:

Empty containers should be responsibly disposed of or returned to the manufacturer.
